VisualAPL Share Files

Postby George Loyd » April 15th, 2011, 3:49 pm

I've been exploring the VisualAPL Share File System.
Does anybody know why I get the following error when I use ⎕LIBS or ⎕LIBD in the Cielo Explorer?:

Could not load file or assembly 'SNLAE, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=fdd53a78e43a677a' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified.
Thanks.

I've been able to reproduce George's issue; not sure if this helps.

VisualAPL Virtual Directory Example

Postby joe_blaze » May 4th, 2011, 11:50 pm

The attached pdf-format document illustrates using []LIBD, []LIB, []LIBS and []FCREATE to create VisualAPL share files in a VisualAPL virtual directory associated with a physical file.

Note that the updated version of VisualAPL for Visual Studio 2008, which will released to customers shortly, is required for proper operation of this example. Be sure to uninstall the previous version of VisualAPL for Visual Studio 2008 before installing a new version!

The new VisualAplProfessionalSetup_v1.5.8133.msi installer with the fix is now available at http://forum.apl2000.com/viewtopic.php?t=711. Remember to first un-install the prior version of VisualAPL before installing the new version.

You will also need a new activation code for VisualAPL that can be obtained by contacting APL2000 Support at support@apl2000.com.
