LocalDB 2022 is available

1. SQL Server Management Studio 2019 (SSMS) is now available,
2. LocalDB 2022 (LOCALDB) is now available.

a. Both are free downloads.
b. Both install independently of other installed versions.

LocalDB 2019 and LocalDB 2022 share the same default instance name, namely, mssqllocaldb.

Therefore, to use the 2022 version IF you have the 2019 version installed, you will need to create a new instance name.

If you do NOT have LocalDB 2019 installed, you can simply use the default instance.
